Sally Doyle – behavioural optometrist, Fitzroy North Eye Centre

Sally Doyle

Optometrist

Sally completed her Optometry Degree at Melbourne University in 1990. She was one of the first optometrists in Victoria to complete Therapeutics Training and has also done further study in Low Vision, Children's Vision and Behavioural Optometry.

Sally is a Fellow of The Australian College of Optometry and a member of the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists and a member of the Contact Lens Society of Australia.

Sally enjoys consulting in all areas of optometry. Sally has served on the Optometrists Registration Board of Victoria for 9 years and on the Council of the Optometrists Association, Victorian Division for 5 years. Outside of optometry, Sally enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit.

Meagan Drinan

Optometrist

Meagan completed her Optometry Degree at the University of New South Wales in 1993, graduating with Honours. She has also completed further post graduate training in Ocular Therapeutics and Advanced Contact Lenses.

Meagan is a member of The Australian College of Optometry and a member of the Orthokeratology Society of Oceania.

Meagan enjoys all aspects of optometry consulting. She has a special interest in the areas of myopia management and specialty contact lens fitting. Outside of work Meagan enjoys family time and running.

Valentine Girre

Practice Manager, Optical Dispenser & Vision Therapist

Valentine is our resident French optical dispenser who has worked in the industry for over 10 years both in Australia and in France. She has a creative flare and looks after our display windows at our practice. Her next step is to become a qualified vision therapist and work in our resourceful team.

In her leisure time she enjoys painting, going for long walks, cooking traditional French meals and trying new places for brunch.

Brooke Singh

Optical Dispenser & Vision Therapist

Brooke originates from Far North Queensland but made the move down to Melbourne to be closer to family and especially to escape the QLD heat!

She is a qualified optical dispenser who has worked in the industry for almost 5 years. Since joining the team at Fitzroy North Eye Centre she discovered vision therapy and is absolutely passionate about it! She has completed her training to become a qualified Vision Therapist and wishes to continue with study and further her career in this field.

In her spare time she enjoys exploring Melbourne and its surrounds and indulging in the amazing food and wine that Melbourne has to offer.

Optical Dispenser

Saskia is a qualified optical dispenser who has worked in the industry for 6 years, her focus and passion is to continue to expand her knowledge in optics, she finds it very rewarding and strives to provide our customers with remarkable service.


In her spare time she likes to explore Melbourne, snowboard and is currently trying to learn dutch, wens haar geluk!

Victoria Gee

Optical Dispenser

Victoria began as a dispenser in Warrnambool nearly seven years ago, before moving to the Big Smoke in 2015. She is the newest addition to the Fitzroy North Eye Centre team, and brings in her own level of expertise, which she is constantly working to develop.

Outside of work, Victoria tries to be as creative as possible, working in the arts and freelancing as a model. She loves spending time with her friends, and travels back to Warrnambool regularly to hit the beach!

Leisl Shanley

Optical Assistant

Leisl is new to the optical industry, but has always had a passion for the health sciences and is excited to be learning as much as she can about optical dispensing with the team at Fitzroy North Eye Centre.

Away from work she enjoys sewing and knitting to create her own clothes, hitting up the gym and learning to ice skate – very badly at this stage!
